NEW name and NEW logo! Bluejay Dance Studio is a youth dance program for girls and boys ages three years through High School. The program is a 9-month program split into a fall and spring session allowing new dancers to try dance without the full year financial commitment. The Fall session wraps up with a mid-year recital in December. For your convenience, we have included the cost for the recital costume and a group photo with the registration fee eliminating the request for these funds later and allowing your instructor plenty of time to find the perfect costume for your dancer.

Recital Costumes: Dancers will be measured at the start of each session so we may order the appropriate size costume for the recital.

Jennifer Thomas, originally from Waseca, has 30+ years of dance experience in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Hip-Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Modern Dance. She has trained at Waseca Community Ed. Dance Program, Dance Conservatory of So. MN, and MSU-Mankato. She has been teaching and choreographing for 21 years. As a teacher and choreographer, many of her dancers and groups have won numerous high-level awards at Regional and National Dance Competitions. She is thrilled to be teaching for Waseca Community Ed., where her own dance career began!
