School Delays or Early Dismissals Due to Weather
Winter is here...The decision to not have school is typically made prior to 6:30 am. Visit our school closing webpage to see what radio and tv stations we announce the closings on. The same stations will be used to announce if school needs to close early. Please DO NOT call your child's Principals Office asking if school is closed/closing as the office is trying to make the necessary changes to prepare for being closed or closing.
If you have not already done so please communicate with your child about what they are to do if school closes early due to bad weather.

The school board has approved the Waseca Public Schools 2009-2010 calendar. At this point the MN legislature has not approved a pre-labor day start which is the main reason for our late starting and ending dates. |
