We are thrilled to announce our Waseca High School Girls Tennis students who have earned All-Conference and Honorable Mention honors! These athletes were instrumental in our team’s successful 15-6 overall season, securing a Section 1A Team Championship and leading the program’s return to the MSHSL State Class A Team Tournament after 13 years.
All-Conference Selections:
Mia Kanewischer, 12 (15-7, 40-39 career): Primarily at first doubles this season with an impressive BSC record of 5-1.
Addie Pfeifer, 12 (14-8, 43-41 career): Primarily at first doubles this season with a strong BSC record of 5-1.
Honorable Mention:
Takya Schoenrock, 12 (8-16, 28-58 career): Competed primarily at first singles with a BSC record of 0-6 this season.
Vivian Mader, 11 (18-9, 35-14 career): Played primarily at second doubles with a solid BSC record of 4-2.
Maddy Benson, 11 (18-5, 41-23 career): Played primarily at third singles with an outstanding BSC record of 5-1.
Special recognition also goes to Vivian Mader, who represented Waseca at her first MSHSL State Class A Individual Tournament, showcasing her remarkable talent on the state stage.
